OTIS — Dennis Phillip Brack, 78, died Jan. 17, at his home in Laughlin, Nev. Born March 25, 1935, in Great Bend, he was the son of Lester A. and Frieda (Kaiser) Brack. He graduated from Otis High School and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in engineering from Fort Hays State University. On Sept. 28, 1960, he married Victoria Lebsack in Wichita. After they were united in marriage, Dennis and Victoria moved to Huntington Beach, Calif. He was employed by National Cash Register, in Santa Anna, Calif. as an engineer until his retirement. He also kept a farm going in Otis. He enjoyed farming, cars, and anything farm related.
Mr. Brack served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his wife, Victoria Brack of the home in Laughlin, Nev.; two sons, Phillip Brack of Laughlin, Nev. and Jeffrey Brack of Laguna Niguel, Calif.; and three grandchildren, Rachel Brack, Lance Brack, and Tracy Brack. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Michael Brack; and an infant sister.
Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at the Otis Methodist Cemetery with Pastor Adam Wutka officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the Fort Riley Honor Guard. Memorials are suggested to St. Paul Lutheran Church at Galatia in care of the funeral home.
