Donna Rae (Krier) Hoffman 1947 - 2013

CLAFLIN — Donna Rae (Krier) Hoffman, 66, of Mt. Vernon, Mo., died Aug. 21, at her home. Born Feb. 11, 1947, in Pueblo, Colo., she was the daughter of the late Richard and Myrtle (DeLair) Krier. Donna was a 1965 graduate of Claflin Kansas High School and graduated from West Hills College in San Diego, Calif., where she attended from 1965-1968, earning a degree in Accounting. On Feb. 12, 1997, she married LeRoy J. Hoffman in Claflin. They resided in Claflin until 2000, moving to Mt. Vernon, Mo., to retire. Donna enjoyed her animals especially her horses and her dachshunds. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Hoffman was a member of the St. Suzanne Catholic Church in Mt. Vernon, Mo.
Survivors include her husband, LeRoy, of Mt. Vernon, Mo.; one son, Paul Bradshaw and his wife, Amanda, of Mt. Vernon, Mo.; two daughters, Deborah Jerue and her husband, David, and Bridgette Hoffman, all of Mt. Vernon; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. on Monday, at the Claflin Cemetery, with Father Anselm Eke as celebrant. Friends may call from 4 until 8 p.m. on Sunday, with an Altar Society rosary beginning at 7 p.m., at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home in Hoisington. Memorials are suggested to Kans For Kids or American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
