WICHITA — Dorothy M. (Wilson) Hannah, died Wednesday, Jan. 26, at Reflection Living Center in Wichita, at the age of 94. Dorothy was born Oct. 26, 1917 in Jetmore, the daughter of Roscoe H. and Dollie (Raser) Wilson. She was Valedictorian of her high school class and received her bachelor’s degree from Southwestern College in 1941. She married John T. Hannah on Oct. 30, 1953. Dorothy was a paralegal for many years and was a charter member for the Trinity United Methodist Church, both in Great Bend. Dorothy treasured her family dearly, enjoyed traveling and loved a good laugh.
Survivors include a son, Tom Hannah and wife Jan of Florissant, Colo.; a daughter, Kathy Souter and her husband Roger of Wichita; six grandchildren, Kalee, Alicia, Matthew, Mollie, Tracie and Jeff; three great-grandchildren, Emma, Bailey and Mallorie; and a sister, Katherine Stegman of Wichita. She was preceded in death by her husband John; and a brother Howard.
There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life is planned for the spring.
