GOODLAND — Etta V. Brack, age 91, of Goodland passed away Sunday, May 29, 2022 at Topside Manor.   

Etta was born Aug. 13, 1930 to Fred and Selma (Brack) Brack in Albert, Kan. She grew up and attended grade school in Albert and graduated from Great Bend High School in 1949. She worked as a secretary for the City and County of Denver for many years. Etta came to Goodland in 2004 to live with her niece Helen Elliott. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Great Bend, an avid bowler, enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and friends.  

She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Everen, Kenneth, Algene, Eldon and Daylon; sisters, Fara (Betty) James, Mary Evers; three nieces, Anita (Brack) Titus, Margaret (Evers) Darkas and Delores (James) Thomas. Etta is survived by her nieces, Helen Elliott of Goodland, Kan., Sharon (Steve) Pivonka of Overland Park, Kan., Brenda Florian of Colorado Springs, Colo.; nephew, Donald (Nancy) James of Lincoln, Neb.; and a host of nieces and nephews.   

Graveside service will be Friday, June 3, 2022 at 11 a.m. CT at the Great Bend Cemetery. Memorials may be designated to Etta Brack Memorial Fund and may be left at the service or sent in care of Bateman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 278, Goodland, Kansas 67735.
