WILSON — Francis M. Olds, 92, died Jan. 20, 2014 at Salina Regional Health Center.
He was born July 25, 1921 in Wilson, the son of Frank D. Olds and Susan (Thompson) Olds.
He married Gladys B. (Heinze) Aug. 9, 1941 at Dorrance. She passed away April 24, 2005.
Mr. Olds served in the U.S. Army in World War II.
Survivors include a son, Alan Olds and his wife Wilma, Wilson; a daughter, Peggy Soeken and her husband Ronald, Lorraine; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Gladys Olds; his parents, Frank and Susan Olds; a brother, Pernal Olds, and a sister Margaret Miller.
Funeral Service is scheduled at 10 a.m. Saturday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wilson. Military rites will feature the Fort Riley Honor Guard and Wilson American Legion. Interment will be the Wilson City Cemetery.
Visitation is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at Foster Mortuary, Wilson.
