Guillermo “Will” Resendiz, 31, died Nov. 25 at his home in Great Bend. Born Feb. 6, 1981 in McAllen, Texas, he was the son of Atanacio and Teresa (Rivera) Resendiz. He married Adelita Diaz in Edinburg, Texas. A resident of Great bend since 1987, coming from McAllen, Texas, he was employed by KMW Loaders as a plasma operator.
Mr. Resendiz was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Great Bend.
Survivors include his wife, Adelita Resendiz, of the home; parents, Atanacio and Teresa Resendiz of Great Bend; one son: Guillermo Resendiz-Diaz of Great Bend; one daughter, Emily Resendiz-Diaz of Great Bend; one sister, Cynthia Enriquez and her husband Mario of Great Bend; and two brothers, Atanacio Resendiz, Jr. of Great Bend and Rogelio Resendiz of Great Bend.
Vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. today at Bryant Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Great Bend. Burial will be at the Great Bend Cemetery North. Friends may visit from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
