Larry L. Miller 1943-2016

LARNED — Larry L. Miller, 73, passed away March 27, 2016, at Hays Medical Center. Born March 11, 1943, in Great Bend he was the son of Warren W. and Glennis Evelyn Lile Miller. A lifetime area resident, he was a farmer and an auctioneer.
Mr. Miller served in the Armed Forces from 1965-1971. He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 106, past board member of the Pawnee County COOP, Pointview Cemetery board member, National Rifle Association, Pheasants Forever and Ducks Unlimited.
Survivors include his children, Lisa Wyatt (Ricky) of Great Bend, Lacy Pfannenstiel (Dustin) of Norton, Lyle Miller (Michelle Kennedy) of Larned, Lori Behnke (Ben) of Bushton, Lynn Miller (Jessie) of Larned, Lonny Miller of Larned and Troy Miller of Council Bluff, Iowa; his fiancé, Sandra Moffet of Larned; and 10 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother Brian Miller.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday at Beckwith Mortuary with Pastor Mark Slattery presiding. The family requests that friends and family please dress casual for the funeral service. Burial with military graveside rites will be in the Larned Cemetery. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., today with family present from 6 to 8 p.m., at the mortuary. Memorials may be given to the American Legion Baseball program, in care of the funeral home.
