Lila Marilyn Fuller 1927-2012

GREAT BEND — Lila Marilyn Fuller, 84, died Feb. 18, 2012 at Great Bend Regional Hospital.
She was born Nov. 20, 1927 at Great Bend, the daughter of Harold and Addie Alice (Siebert) Harms
She was a 1945 graduate of Great Bend High School. She attended Bethany College, Lindsborg, and in 1961 earned an associate degree from Sterling College.
She married James B. Fuller Oct. 16, 1964 at Great Bend. He died Feb. 2, 2003.
She was a social worker for the Barton County Welfare Department for many years. Jim and Lila later owned and operated the Bay Ridge Resort, Lake of the Ozarks, Mo. Mrs. Fuller was a Great Bend resident most of her life. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Great Bend; and Ozark Chapel United Methodist Church, Laurie, Mo.
Survivors include seven children, Dr. William J. Rogers and his wife Pam, Amarillo, Texas;  Patrice A. Rush, Edmond, Okla.; Paula K. Rogers, Hoisington; Stephen M. Fuller, Seattle, Wash.; Roderick H. Rogers, Salina; Linnette D. Carlson, Rio Rancho, N.M.;  Janelle K. Dreiling and her husband Tim, Lake Kiowa, Texas; two brothers: The Reverend Gary Harms, Wichita; Ernest Harms and his wife Nancy, Ottumwa, Iowa; and seven grandchildren, William “Chris” Rogers and his wife Tiffany, Amarillo, Texas; Nicholas Rogers, Amarillo, Texas; Kelsey Dreiling, Collinsville, Texas; Jamie Dreiling, Lake Kiowa, Texas; Adam Carlson and his wife Megan, Albuquerque, N.M.; Ryan Gregg, Edmond, Okla.; and Kelly Gregg and his wife Krissy, Edmond, Okla.; and five great-grandsons.
She was preceded in death by a son, The Reverend Gregory Fuller; and a brother, Kenneth K. Harms.
A Funeral Service is scheduled at 2 p.m., Monday, Feb. 20 at First United Methodist Church in Great Bend with The Reverend Tom Sheldon and The Reverend Gary Harms officiating. Interment will be at the Great Bend Cemetery.
Visitation is scheduled from 1 to 9 p.m., Sunday and 9 a.m. to noon Monday at the Bryant Funeral Home.
Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
