Naomi June Stevens 1929 - 2013

MCPHERSON — Naomi June Stevens, 83, passed away on Feb. 25, 2013 while in the company of family members at McPherson Hospital.
Born on May 30, 1929 in Mulberry, she was the daughter of the late Lena (Massa) and Colonel D. Neil. She attended the Mulberry public schools. June worked as a road manager for a country western band. She was the widow of Red Stevens.
Survivors include her children, a son, Rockie (Patricia) Jones, Great Bend; a daughter, Penny (Jerry) Northness, Albuquerque, N.M.; a son, Neil Snyder, Redvale, Colo.; and a son, Gordon Snyder, Dallas, Texas; a sister, Norma Tratos, Sacramento, Calif.; nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and eight siblings.
A memorial service and graveside committal services of cremated remains will be held at a later date in Rosebank Cemetery in Mulberry.
Memorials are suggested to Relay for Life of Great Bend in care of the funeral home.
