PITTSBURG — Patricia Catherine Wheat, 82, formerly of Great Bend and Pittsburg, passed away Jan. 3, 2014 at Via Christ Hospital in Pittsburg.
She is survived her son Richard W. Wheat and Lisa Tetrick, both of Valley Center; grandchildren Devin Wheat, Kansas City; Matt, Shannon, Katie, Olivia and Ross Laidler, Pittsburg; Josh Tetrick and Abby Dirks, Valley Center.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe L. Wheat; daughter, Debra L Laidler; son-in-law Tom Laidler; four brothers; three sisters; and numerous nephews and nieces.
