Robert L. "Rob" Pelster Jr., 39, died Oct. 13 at his home in Great Bend. He was born Jan. 14, 1971, in Great Bend, the son of Robert L. Pelster Sr. and Lodema "Dee" (Garrett) Pelster. He married Frankie Lea on Aug. 14, 1993, at Great Bend. He worked for Log-Tech of Kansas as a wireline tech. He was a lifetime Great Bend resident.

Mr. Pelster was a member of Big Bend Bow Hunters and an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed playing softball.

Survivors include his wife, Frankie, of the home; his mother, Dee Pelster of Great Bend; one son, Sebastian Pelster and fiancee Meagan Barlow, both of Great Bend; one daughter, Tahcoa Pelster, of the home; one brother, Matthew Pelster of Great Bend; three sisters, Kim Pelster, Vickie Clawson and husband Gaylen and Debbie Tucker and husband Scott, all of Great Bend; one grandson, Tyler Ryan Pelster; nine nieces and nephews and eight great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers, Mark Pelster and Edward Pelster.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Bryant Funeral Home with the Rev. Dick Ogle officiant. Interment will be at Great Bend Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral h ome, with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Donations to the Rob Pelster Funeral Expense Fund may be made in care of the funeral home.
