Four earn All-American status at Cross Country Championships

Missouri Southern’s Vincent Kiprop was the National Runner-Up in men’s cross country to highlight the MIAA’s day at the NCAA Division II National Cross Country Championships.
In addition to Kiprop who finished just nine second behind the national champion Fort Hays State’s Cory Keehn earned a spot on the podium with a  13th place finish.
Southwest Baptist has the highest finish on the team side as they picked 13th overall and Nebraska-Kearney came in 15th in the race.
On the women’s side Elizabeth Luckel of Southwest Baptist earned All-American honors with a 16th place finish. Morgan Benesch of Nebraska-Kearney also earned All-American status finished in 27th overall.
As a team Southwest Baptist finished in 18th scoring 422 teams points.
