The Barton Community College volleyball team was swept by Hutchinson on Wednesday night at Kirkman Activity Center in Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Western Division action.
The Lady Cougars drop to 6-15 overall and 3-5 in the Jayhawk West, while Hutchinson improves to 14-6, 7-1.
Barton played the Lady Blue Dragons close in the first two games, falling 25-20 in each.
Hutchinson took control of the final set, winning 25-11.
McKenie Piland led the Lady Cougars with 10 kills. Jori Mote added nine.
Lakyn Rowden had a team-leading 14 assists.
Kiara Rivera led Barton with 10 digs.
The Lady Cougars travel to Liberal for a 1 p.m. match against Seward County on Friday.
