Club 1 Fitness winter tennis camp planned

Club 1 Fitness’ Winter Co-Ed Tennis Camp is set for next week. The camp will include direct instruction, drills and conditioning for all elementary, middle, and high school students interested in playing tennis.
The camp will take place from 9-11:30 a.m. and from 1-3:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, Dec. 28 and 29, at the Club 1 Fitness indoor tennis courts, 3806 Broadway in Great Bend.
The coaches will be: Sydney Bwalya, USPTR Professional and McPherson College head men’s and women’s tennis coach; and Sam Wrinkle, former Barton Community College and Ouachita Baptist University top collegiate player who is now coaching in Texas.
The camp will be limited to 12 players. The cost for the camp is $100. If a player pre-pays for the camp, the cost will be $75. Lunch will be provided to all participants.

GBRC starting indoor soccer registration

The Great Bend Recreation Center is beginning its indoor soccer leagues.
Enrollment begins Jan. 3 and last until Jan. 14. There is a $20 registration fee. There are leagues set up to accommodate kids from kindergarten to eighth grade.
