Cardinals' compete at Beloit Track Relays

Hoisington sprinter Marley Bittel broke the 100-meter school record (12.01) at Thursday's Central Kansas League track meet.

BELOIT — Multi-state medal winner Marley Bittel swept the 100 meters (12.4) and 200 meters (25.77) and placed runner-up in the 400 meters (1;00.53) at Friday's Beloit Track Invitational.

Addison Hanzlick was second in the discus (110-2). Hoisington's girls (48 points) placed fifth.

Hoisington's Layton Hoffman won the discus (165-10) and placed third in the shot put (54-21/2).

Taylen Morales placed runner-up in the pole vault (13-6).

Hoisington's boys placed seventh with 44 points.
