NESS CITY — The Claflin Junior High girls’ basketball team concluded the first part of its season on Monday night with a road win against Ness City, 45-27.
Reagan Phelan took charge with 19 points, 11 steals and five assists. Bre Schartz added 14 points, four rebounds and three steals.
Abby Stueder put up five points, five rebounds and one assist. Julie Demel contributed three points, three assists and one steal while Bri Ana-Lewis scored two points and grabbed two rebounds.
The Claflin “A” team’s record is 8-0 going into the holiday break.
Claflin’s “B” team also beat the Ness City Eagles, 28-11.
Kendi Maxwell led the team with 10 points. Shea Turner and Kylee Girard each added four points.
