The Great Bend USD 428 Education Foundation’s 13th annual benefit golf tournament will be held on Friday, April 29 at the Club at StoneRidge.
Proceeds from the event will be used to enhance learning opportunities for students in USD 428 schools.
The tournament will be a four-person scramble with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. The entry fee is $500 for major sponsors, which covers lunch, green fees, carts, favors, refreshments and range balls.
Players are welcome to put together their own teams, or register as a single player and the foundation will form your team. The cost for a single player is $100.
The USD 428 Education Foundation was established in 1989 to provide enrichment activities for students in USD 428 classrooms. Since that time, the Foundation has supported the teachers and students of the district in the form of minigrants to fund special classroom projects. In fact, in the past 20 years, more than $200,000 has directly benefitted students in the form of minigrants.
