St. John-Hudson 78,
Cunningham 26
ST. JOHN — St. John-Hudson High School’s boys’ basketball team put their game against Cunningham away in the second quarter, leading 43-12 at halftime.
Dean Wade led the Tigers with 21 points and 11 rebounds.
Wade went 10-for-21 from the field (47.6 percent). He had five steals and four blocks.
Senior Zuriel Reyes added 18 points for St. John.
Reyes, who is 18-for-36 (50 percent) on 3-pointers this season, only made 2 of 5 (40 percent) against Cunningham. He also had a team-leading six assists.
Point guard Kade Kinnamon had 10 steals and eight points in the game.

Macksville 70,
Kiowa County 40
MACKSVILLE — Macksville led 39-24 at halftime, and held on to rout Kiowa County.
Macksville’s Kaden Herman scored a game-high 20 points.
Tanner Tranbarger added 18 points for the Mustangs.

LARNED — Larned took hold of the lead against Mid-Central Activities Association foe Hoisington in the first quarter and never looked back.
Easton Palmer led the Indians, scoring 12 points, including three 3-pointers.
Brayden Smith added 11 points, going 6-for-8 from the free-throw line.
Hoisington was led by Christopher Wright, who scored 13 points.
Steffan Dolechek finished with 10 points for the Cardinals.
