ST. JOHN — St. John took a 24-16 lead into the locker room at halftime and built on that lead, outscoring Claflin 25-11 in the third period to win on Friday night.
The Tigers leaned on Brandon Blakeslee, who scored 20 points, including three 3-pointers. St. John had seven players hit 3-pointers in the game, as it totaled eight 3s.
Benn Kirmer led the Wildcats with 10 points.
