BUSTON — Quivira Heights High School (4-0) found itself down 48-33 going into the fourth quarter, but a 23-7 turnaround gave the Lady Thunderbirds a win over Wilson on Tuesday.
Kinsey Phelan was Quivira Heights’ leading scorer with 19 points, including 10 in the final quarter.
Lindsey Woodmansee added 10 points.
St. John 39, Claflin 35
CLAFLIN — St. John trailed after the first quarter, but a second-quarter surge put the Lady Tigers ahead, 20-15, at halftime on Tuesday.
The Lady Tigers (4-0) were led by Jamie Water, who sank all three of her free throws and a 3-pointer to reach a game-high 14 points.
Courtney Liebl led the Lady Wildcats (4-1) with 13 points.
Otis-Bison 54,
Ellinwood 45
OTIS — Otis-Bison (2-3) held Ellinwood (2-3) to only three points in the first quarter and stayed ahead for the rest of the game to win on Tuesday.
The Lady Cougars were led by Jammel Tammen, who scored a game-high 19 points. Hannah Bannister and Kim Pechanec were both in double digits with 13 and 12 points, respectively.
Ellinwood leaned on Darrien Beckwith, who contributed 15 points and Bailey Schartz, who put up 14 points.
Sedgwick 50,
Hoisington 46
HOISINGTON — Down 25-20 at halftime, Hoisington (2-3) outscored Sedgwick 26-25 in the second half, but came up short on Tuesday.
Jordin Greer, a 5-foot-7 freshman, had a break-out game, scoring 18 points. Greer was 7 for 8 from the line and hit the Lady Cardinals only 3.
As a team, the Lady Cardinals drained 11 of 12 from the free-throw line for 91 percent accuracy.
Hodgeman County 59, Pawnee Heights 25
ROZEL — Pawnee Heights (0-5) got behind 17-6 in the first quarter and never found a way to climb back, dropping the game against Hodgeman County on Tuesday.
Capree Worthey scored eight points to lead the Lady Tigers.

Sedgwick 39
HOISINGTON — Hoisington (5-0) continued its winning ways, capturing a big win at home Tuesday night.
Ryan Bieberle ran up 26 points, including four 3-pointers.
Cody Stetler, who scored 16 points in the win, had 20 rebounds to continue a four-game streak with 20 or more.
Hodgeman County 61, Pawnee Heights 32
ROZEL — Pawnee Heights (0-5) outscored Hodgeman County 9-4 in the fourth quarter on Tuesday, but it was too little, too late.
Sam Spence was the point-leader for the Tigers with 10.
Chad Wallace was right behind him with nine points. So was Aron Clapham, who drained three 3s for the Tigers.

Ellinwood 30
OTIS — Otis-Bison (3-2) jumped to an early 29-15 lead at the half and never looked back.
The Cougars were led by Trevor Keller, who rang up 17 points, including 4 for 4 from the free-throw line.
Kyle Blakeslee led the Eagles (1-4) with 13 points.

BUSHTON — Quivira Heights (2-2) led 36-25 at halftime, but a late surge from Wilson turned the game around in the fourth quarter.
The Thunderbirds were led by Taylor Siemsen, who put up 18 points.
Gunner Phelan added 17 points, and Bryce Straub joined the other two in double digits with 14.
