Great Bend 8th grade teams split games against Dodge City

The Great Bend Middle Scjhool eighth-grade boys basketball team has been practicing hard during this season and that practice paid off against Dodge City Middle School.
Already short handed with the illness of Andreas Rios and Carlos Jacobo, the B-team had to make more adjustments after Brody Tracy injured his foot during the first half and had to leave the game. The Panthers battled hard but in the end posted a 20-17 loss led by Ashton Ramsey with eight points and two rebounds.
The A-team took the court looking to avenge the B-team loss and struggled until the end of the game before rallying for a 41-36 win with Drew Nicholson leading the Panther scorers with 17 points followed by Sam Hall with 12 points and Cal Dunekack with 10 points.
