WICHITA — The Great Bend High School boys’ swim team finished in sixth place in the 17-team field of the Wichita Northwest meet on Saturday.
The Panthers finished with 146 points to fall behind first-place Maize, which scored 412 points.
Justin Kuhlman was the top individual finisher, taking fourth place in the 200-yard freestyle in a time of one minute, 58.91 seconds.
Great Bend’s “A” relay team in the 200 medley relay, comprised of Kuhlman, Michael Haines, Ky Heeke and Kade Cook, entered the race as the 15th seed in the event. They took fourth place, touching in at 1:50.84.
