Lace up your cleats.
Make sure you have plenty of water.
Monday marked the opening day of high school sports practice.
Every high school in the area began their daily preparations for the 2014 fall season.

The Lady Panthers volleyball team, which competed in the Class 5A state tournament last season, had 40 athletes out for the first day.
The Panthers soccer team also estimated over 40 players out on Day 1.
Great Bend’s girls’ golf also started out at The Club at StoneRidge, the girls’ tennis team opened up daily practices at Veterans Park and the cross-country team started things up at the high school track.
