HOISINGTON — Tied at 20 at halftime, the Hoisington High School girls’ basketball team outscored Central Plains 24-14 in the second half to win on Tuesday night.
The Lady Cardinals are 6-1 this season with their only loss coming in the season opener at Central Plains. They were led by Mallory Flagor, who scored 17 points.
Jennifer Hitschmann led the Lady Oilers (4-2) with 14 points.
Central Plains travels to Macksville on Friday night.
Hoisington’s next game is Jan. 13 against Ellinwood.

LARNED — The Thomas More Prep-Marian girls jumped ahead to a 46-18 lead at halftime in a Mid-Central Activities Association win over Larned.
The Lady Indians (2-3) were led by Roxy Foster, who finished with seven points.
Larned travels to Dodge City on Friday and then entertains Southwestern Heights at home on Saturday.

CUNNNINGHAM — Macksville had three players in double digits in its road win against Cunningham.
Adam Oak led the Mustangs, who are 5-2 and are ranked No. 6 in Class 1A Division-I in the latest Kansas Basketball Coaches Association poll, with 14 points including a pair of 3-pointers.
Seth Filbert added 13 points and Adolfo Ibarra scored 12.
Macksville hosts Central Plains on Friday night.

Otis-Bison 39, Healy 29
HEALY — Brandon Pechanec scored 18 points for Otis-Bison in a low-scoring win against Healy.
Trevor Keller added nine points for the Cougars, who are 5-2 and ranked No. 10 in Class 1A D-II.
Otis-Bison hosts Victoria on Friday night.
