St. John girls ranked No. 1 after 6-0 start

The St. John High School girls’ basketball team is the No. 1 team in Class 1A Division-I in the latest Kansas Basketball Coaches Association poll.
The Lady Tigers are on the top of their class for the second straight week, after spending the first two weeks as the No. 2 team.
St. John is 6-0 thus far and will put its perfect record on the line against Kinsley tonight on the road.
Macksville’s boys are ranked No. 6 in Class 1A D-I.
The Mustangs, the defending 1A D-I state champions, are 4-1, with its only loss coming at the hands of Hoisington at the Keady Basketball Classic championship game. It was a 57-56 loss to the No. 6 team in Class 3A.
Mackvsille travels to Ransom to challenge Western Plains.
Hoisington is off until after the Christmas break, when it will host Central Plains on Jan. 3.
Otis-Bison is ranked No. 10 in Class 1A D-II.
The Cougars are 4-2 this season, after finishing in third place at the 1A D-II state tournament.
Otis-Bison is off until Jan. 3, when it travels to Healy.
Central Plains hosts Larned tonight. It is the final game before the holiday break for both schools.
