Uselton selected to Shrine Bowl

Great Bend High School’s Tyler Uselton has been selected to play in the prestigious 39th Annual Kansas Shrine football game this coming July.
The annual all-star game features the top players from around the state.
Uselton, a massive 6-foot-4, 327-pound lineman, has been a pillar for the Panthers, entrenching himself, in the words of GBHS head coach Bo Black, as “the best offensive lineman I have coached.”

Great Bend hosts Garden tonight
Great Bend plays host to Garden City in a Western Athletic Conference basketball opener for the Panthers tonight.
The GBHS girls play Garden in varsity action at Panther Fieldhouse, tipping off at 6, followed by the boys game.
The GBHS freshman girls tip off at 4, followed by the boys at 5:45, at the Panther Athletic Center. Boys and girls JV action will also be taking place at the PAC.
