On Nov. 1, the Barton, Rush, Pawnee County Conservation Districts are sponsoring a USDA Informational Workshop at 7 p.m., to be held at the Wetlands educational Center located on U.S.156 across from Cheyenne Bottoms.
Speakers for the evening will be Alicia Boor, Barton County Extension Agent. Alica will discuss services that are provided by K-State Research and Extension. Kristi Badger, CED, Farm Service Agency will discuss price support loan programs such as Grain loans, Beginning Farmer Loans, Farm Storage Facitity Loans for Grain Storage, and Micro Loan. Monty Breneman, Ron Klein with Natural Resources Conservation Service will talk about financial assistant opportunities with EQIP, CSP, RCPP.
