A K-State Sorghum Production school will offer in-depth information for sorghum growers and key stakeholders. The school is sponsored by Kansas Grain Sorghum Commission. It will on Thursday, Jan. 30, at the Great Bend Recreation Commission, Burnside Room, 1214 Stone Street. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. the programs starts at 8:45 a.m. and concludes at 1 p.m.
The sorghum school will cover a number of issues facing sorghum growers: risk management, marketing opportunities, weed control, crop production practices, and nutrient and soil fertility.
Lunch will be provided courtesy of the Kansas Grain Sorghum Commission. There is no cost to attend, but participants are asked to pre-register by Monday, Jan. 27.
