Kenneth and Violet Borror of Ellinwood, will celebrate their 60th anniversary on Jan 21 with a card shower.
Kenneth Borror and Violet Bray were united in marriage on Jan. 21, 1951 in Rossville, Ill. Kenneth was employed for IBM before retiring in 1989. Violet worked in the pharmacy of the VA Medical Center in Danville, Ill. and as an RN at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, Ill. before retiring. Since retiring, they both have volunteered countless hours with Star of Hope International. The couple has four children, Barry and Linda Borror of Ellinwood, Gregory and Kathy Borror of Bailey, Colo., James and Peggy Borror of Champaign, Ill. and Cheryl and Mike Nolan of Monument, Colo.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
