Norman and Mary Hildebrand

Norman and Mary Hildebrand, of Stafford, will celebrate their 50th anniversary with a reception from 2-4 p.m. on Aug. 14 at the Calvary Baptist Church, in Stafford. Hosts for the event will be their children, Randall and Molly Hildebrand of Great Bend, Bruce and Janell Heyen of Hillsboro, and Jason and Carrie Hildebrand of Stafford. Family and friends are invited to attend.
Norman Keith Hildebrand and Mary Elizabeth Strahm were united in marriage on Aug. 5, 1961, in Fairview. They met at Kansas State University and spent the first year of their married life in Manhattan, then lived in Ensign and Pratt, where Norman was a Vo-Ag teacher and Mary taught business and was a homemaker. In 1965, they moved to a farm in southern Stafford County where they have farmed, made their home, and raised their family for 45 years. The couple has 12 grandchildren.
