Larry and Dorothy Panning of Ellinwood will be celebrating their 60th anniversary with a family dinner at noon on Nov. 20 at the St. John’s Lutheran Church Youth Center in Ellinwood. A public reception will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. at 6th and Wilhelm in Ellinwood. No gifts are requested.
Dorothy Dittrick of Great Bend and Larry Panning of Ellinwood, were united in marriage on Nov. 18, 1951 at the St. Luke Lutheran Church in Manhattan, while they were attending Kansas State University. The couple has five children, Susan Dannebohm, Sandy Eggers, Terry Panning and wife Desa, all of Ellinwood, David Panning and wife Marlene, of Great Bend and Kevin Panning and wife Rhonda, of Wichita; 12 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
