Barton County participates in Pawnee County 4H Shootout

Fourteen Barton County 4H’ers participated in the air rifle and air pistol events on March 10 in the 2018 Pawnee County 4H Shootout.
In the air rifle competition, in the 8 to 10 year old division, Cayman Rowan placed first and Paige Stacey placed third. Others competing in this division were Aiden Stacey, Madison Gaddis, Shae Hoskins and Leighton Stacey.
In the 11 and 12 year old division, Parker Dicks placed first and Tate Martin placed second.
In the 13 and 14 year old division, Will Clark was first and Gus Corbett placed second. Also competing in this division was Cameron Stacey.
In the 15 to 18 year old division, Katelyn Reh placed first and Woodson Corbett placed third. Also competing in this division was Dalton Dicks.
The Barton County Air Rifle Team was Katelyn, Woodson, Will and Dalton. The team placed first in the team division.
In the air pistol competition, in the 14 and older 4H Sporter Pistol Division, Barton County was represented by Gus and Woodson Corbett with Gus placing third.
In the 14 and older 4H Open Pistol Division, Katelyn Reh represented Barton County and placed first.
In the Air Pistol Team competition, Barton County only had a Sporter Division Team. The team was Woodson and Gus and they placed 2nd.
The next match will be the 4H State Spring Match on April 28 in Garden City for those who have qualified.
