Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3111 and its Ladies Auxiliary met on Feb. 22 at the Post Home.
A visitor, Scott Edwards from KANWORK, said he would help the veterans find jobs.
A total of 240 Valentines were given to all residents at Cherry Village, Great Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center, River Bend Assisted Living and Sterling House nursing homes.
Plans are in the making to present the flag etiquette program to the third grade students in Great Bend the latter part of April and first week in May.
The Seventh District VFW Post and Auxiliary Convention will be held in Lyons in April.
The next meeting will be held on March 22 at the Post Home.
