Diane Engle’s painting headed to national exhibit

WICHITA — Great Bend artist Diane Engle has been accepted into the Kansas Watercolor Society National Exhibition at Mark Arts, the Mary R. Koch Arts Center, Wichita.

Juror David Smith of Minnesota has selected more than 70 exquisite pieces of art created in this challenging and fluid medium. It’s a collection of artwork of inspiring subject matter and mastery of technique displayed at this perennial favorite of Wichita collectors and art appreciators. 

An opening reception will start off this exhibition at 10 a.m. and continue until 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 20. Advance registration is required for this event at MarkArtsKS.com/watercolor. The exhibit will end Jan. 16, 2021. Wearing of masks or face coverings is required indoors and is also required outdoors where social distancing of 6 feet at all times is not possible.

The Mark Arts at 1307 N Rock RD, Wichita, hours are  10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
