LeRoy and Jean Dringmann

LeRoy and Jean Dringmann of Great Bend will celebrate their 70th anniversary on Aug. 6 with a card shower.

Jean Truex and LeRoy Dringmann were united in marriage on Aug. 6, 1950, at the First Presbyterian Church in Great Bend. LeRoy was associated with and owned Amerine Electric for over 57 years. They have three daughters, Judi (James) Sharp of Derby, Janet (Alan) Siebert of Arkansas City and the late Jane (Rick) Koelsch who passed away in April 2009; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. 

Due to Covid-19 a family dinner will be  held at a later date.

Marathon runner Tracy returns with presentation 'Keep Kids Safe Online'

Leading online safety speaker and marathon runner Ben Tracy will present “Keep Kids Safe Online” in two online presentations on Sunday, April 13, at Heartland Community Church in Great Bend. There will be a presentation for parents at 2 p.m. and one for students at 6:15 p.m. Tracy recently completed a run across America that included a stop at Holy Family School last October.
