The Great Bend chapter won several awards at the Ducks Unlimited state convention last weekend in Mulvane. The chapter has placed second in fundraising for the past few years, coming in behind the Overland Park chapter. They have raised over $200,000 that will go directly into wetland and water conservation projects in Kansas. “We want to say thanks for all the local support from the area,” Ney said.
