It's good to be confident, but this guy was a little too confident. - photo by John Clyde

REGRETSVILLE I can still remember sitting on my parents living room floor watching "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire," desperately trying to answer the questions and failing almost every time.

But even though child John was overweight and pretty dumb, he at least got the first question right a good majority of the time. The second question, however, was a different story.

This video is from a couple years ago, but it will still make you smile and feel terrible all at the same time.

This contestant on "Millionaire" starts off telling a similar story to mine about how he grew up watching the show. But while I knew I was an idiot, this guy says he loved seeing all these smart people on TV and strived to be one of them someday. I admire his hard work and determination to be the smartest version of himself.

But then he goes and humblebrags a little about how he has now graduated from medical school. Good for you, man, that's awesome. Graduating med school is no small feat. But why do I feel like he's slyly letting me know I should not be proud of my bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism? Well, probably because I shouldn't be, but still.

Regardless of my less than impressive accomplishments in life, this man pushes through and moves on to the first question. You need to watch the video to get the awkward glory of it all, but suffice it to say this guy may be too smart for his own good and thought himself right out of the correct answer.

I know you really dropped the ball here, man, but you still get to be a doctor and I'm just the guy who writes ridiculous stories for KSL.com. At least I did know the answer was IKEA.
