U.S. Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Hunter R. Skaggs graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Skaggs. a 2013 graduate of Chapin High School in Chapin, S.C., is the son of Coreen S. and Troy H. Skaggs of Chapin, S.C., brother of Hannah C. Skaggs of Fort Collins, Colo. and grandson of Linda S. and Alfred J. Hammeke of Claflin. He is also the gandson of Harry R. Skaggs of Atlanta, Ga.
Skaggs graduates from basic training
