The annual Cheyenne Bottoms Wildlife Area Public Information Night will be held at 7 p.m. on Aug, 23, at the Kansas Wetland Education Center northeast of Great Bend on Kansas Highway 156, in the southeastern portion of the wildlife area. Information presented includes current and expected conditions at Cheyenne Bottoms for the waterfowl season, waterfowl season dates, expectations for the fall waterfowl migration and expected upland game bird populations for the central part of Kansas.
The meeting is free and open to the public.
