Printing issues delay Wednesday Tribune
The Great Bend Tribune could not be printed Tuesday night and therefore no papers were delivered Wednesday, Publisher Judy Duryee announced. Subscribers can access the full electronic version of Wednesday’s Tribune online at and the printed version will be delivered along with the Friday paper.

Bat Cats host Chamber Night

The Great Bend Chamber of Commerce will host Chamber Night at this Thursday’s Great Bend Bat Cats game. A community barbecue will be available to the first 150 fans. This is a free family-friendly event.

Gates will open at Al Burns Memorial Field at 6:30 p.m. along with the community barbecue serving line. The first pitch will be thrown at 6:50 p.m. by Great Bend Mayor Cody Schmidt. 

The Great Bend Bat Cats, one of 10 teams playing in the Sunflower Collegiate Baseball League, will take on the Dodge City A’s.
