BCC music students to present recital Sunday

Barton Community College will present a student recital of instrumental and vocal performances at 2 p.m. on Sunday in the Dorothy Moses Morrison Chapel, located in BCC’s Fine Arts Building, F-157.
Performers will be students of Keyboard Instructor Karole Erikson, Voice Instructor Glenna Gaunt and Instrumental Instructor Steve Lueth.
The performers are as follows: Kira Kreuter, flute; Megan Schloctermeier, soprano; Ben Gregg, trumpet; Dr. Edward Jones, bass; Rose Radenberg, soprano; Brandon Cross, trombone; Jessica Perez, soprano.
In addition, several  area high school vocal students will perform as guests of the BCC music department. They are as follows:  Estella Schumacher, Erin Bowers, Holly Mosier, Andrew Koster, all from Great Bend High School, and Rachael Herter from Larned High School.
Admission to the concert is free.

With groundwork going on at the future site of the Innovation Center on Farmer’s Plaza off of 10th St., Great Bend Economic Development Executive Director Sara Arnberger updated Great Bend Chamber members on several of the organization’s projects Thursday during a Chamber Coffee.
