Mike Johnson, chairman of the Barton Community College Board of Trustees, wants to know how much it costs the college to comply with federal mandates. The topic will be discussed when the board holds its next study session at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 1, in the Administration Building Conference Room. This luncheon meeting will include a presentation on the Kansas Association of Community College Trustees by Johnson; he represents Barton on the KACCT and was recently elected KACCT president.
Other items on the agenda include the June financial statement, BCC budget, student enrollment trends, the adjunct faculty pay schedule and Fort Riley soldier deployments.
