A resolution to refinance 2008 certificates of participation at Barton Community College will save roughly $105,000 over the life of the bonds, college officials said. That resolution is on the agenda for the BCC Board of Trustees meeting, set for 4 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22, in room F-30, on the lower level of the Fine Arts Building.
Other items on the agenda are approval of interlocal agreements with the cities of Great Bend and Ellinwood. These agreements, which have been approved in previous years, encourage property improvements and new construction.
