Barton County Historical Museum and Village volunteer orientation — 1 p.m. at the museum, south of Great Bend on U.S. 281.
Maturing Spirituality webcast- “Ethical Wills: A Legacy of Values” — 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the Dominican Sisters Motherhouse, 3600 Broadway. First in a series, sponsored by Dominicans at the Heartland Center for Spirituality in Great Bend and the Martin De Porres Center in Columbus Ohio.

SATURDAY
Presbyterian Women Rummage Sale — 8 a.m. to noon at First Presbyterian Church, 24th and Washington.
Critter Ministry event —  6 p.m. in the Burnside Room at the Carl Soden Recreation Center, 1214 Stone St. Free refreshments and prize giveaways.  
Texas Hold’Em Poker Tournament — 7:30 p.m. at the Hoisington Knights of Columbus Hall, 114 North Main. Open to anyone 21 years and older.

Sunday, April 6
10 Snowy Owls presentation and Friends of Cheyenne Bottoms annual meeting — 5 p.m. at the Kansas Wetlands Education Center. The membership drive will include a barbecue supper and presentation on snowy owls.
Immanuel United Church of Christ 11th Annual Hog Feed — 5 to 7 p.m. at the church, 701 N. Fritz, in Ellinwood.
