Casting A Ballot COURTESY PHOTO On Tuesday, students at Helping Hands Preschool looked at a picture of President Barak Obama and Republican challenger Gov. Mitt Romney. The teachers then told them they were voting for who would be president. Then they voted for what is more important to a preschooler...they voted on what they would do today in preschool. The kids decided which book they would read, which song they would sing, whether they would go outside or stay inside during recess, and whether they would have structured play centers or do journals and a game. The staff sent home each childs ballot. The kids had to figure out which ones had the most votes and how the one with the most votes wins, even if it wasnt the one they chose.
