Central Plains jazz band performs at Hutchinson Jazz Festival

CLAFLIN — The Central Plains High School Band played in the Hutchinson Jazz Festival on Jan. 31. The festival was in the Stringer Fine Arts Building. Approximately 18 schools participated in the two-day event. Each band received critiques from three adjudicators and a personal clinic after their performance. 

KGS kicks off Safe Digging Month with tree giveaway

April typically marks the start of the spring planting season, home improvement projects and large-scale excavations.
