Two local churches will hold Halloween-related events today and Monday.
Trinity Lutheran church will host a free community Trunk or Treat event o from 2-4 p.m. today. Participants are encouraged to come dressed in their Halloween costumes and enjoy the various activities, including: trick or treating, inflatables, lawn games and pumpkin painting.
First Assembly of God will hold its annual Hallelujah Party as an alternative to being out in the weather for those parents who wish to be inside and still make sure their kids get lots of candy. It is targeted for those under the age of 13 and everyone is welcome to come and enjoy the fun.
There will be carnival games and snacks for those who get hungry. Face painting and fake tattoos will be available until supplies run out. And the biggest draw is the traditional box maze. There will also have cake walks throughout the evening and lots of good fellowship to go along with everything else.
