City honors long-time staff members

The City of Great Bend Tuesday held an employee luncheon at the Events Center with a main agenda item being the honoring of long-time city personnel. Recognized were 20 staff members with five, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40 years of service, representing 205 years in all. 

“The city wishes to thank those receiving service awards,” said Human Resources Director Randy Keasling, himself among those honored for his five years. “We appreciate the dedication our employees make in serving the citizens of Great Bend.”

The the Service Award recipients for 2022 included:


Five years

• Cody Ruble - Fire Department  

• Shawna Schafer - Finance Department  

• Heather Montoya - Police Department  

• Taylor Reed - Police Department  

• Alex Odin  -  Public Lands - Zoo 

• Patrick Nemec - Fire Department

• Randy Keasling- Human Resources  

• Kaleb Karnosky- Fire Department  


Ten years

• Shane Becker- Police Department 

 

Fifteen years

• Patrick Hastings - Public Lands- Parks  

• Timothy Jacobs - Public Lands- Parks  

• Tony Bronson - Public Works- Streets
