Claflin announces summer reading program
1-Tribune

CLAFLIN — The Claflin Independent Township Library invites all children, preschool through 6th grade, to attend the Summer Reading Program. This year’s theme is, “On Your Mark, Get Set — READ.”
Library Director Judy Wondra said the six-week program begins June 7. “Our summer theme is geared toward being active and sessions will be filled with games, activities, crafts, surprises and, of course, great stories. Kids can earn incentives for reading, plus there will be challenges and contests to keep everyone excited. It’ll be a great summer at the library!”
The first session will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 7, with a program by Smoky Hills Public TV. After that, all sessions will start at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday mornings.
For more information contact the library, 620-587-3488, or email jwondra@hbcomm.net. The library is also on Facebook.
