COLUMBUS CLUB SOUPER CHILI
carryout.gif

With the thermometer hovering around 40 degrees Fahrenheit on Thursday evening, the Great Bend Knights of Columbus had no trouble enticing people to attend their Chili & Chicken Noodle Soup Supper at the Columbus Club. K of C President David Dreiling said members cooked 14 roasters filled with chili and a similar amount of chicken-noodle soup for the all-you-can-eat dinner. (That’s about 1,600 servings, by our calculations.) Council members also brought homemade desserts, which were served by members of the Daughters of Isabella. The money raised supports charities in the community.
